Garda Commissioner Drew Harris has paid tribute to the 89 gardaí killed in the line of duty at an annual memorial ceremony this afternoon.
A number of the bereaved famillies took part in the ceremony at Dublin Castle.
Detective Garda Colm Horkan - who was shot in County Roscommon in 2020 - was the last member of the force to die while on duty.
