Grocery prices should fall within the next six weeks, according to the Junior Enterprise Minister.
Neale Richmond says he has received assurances from the major supermarket chains that any reductions in input costs will be passed on to consumers.
He met representatives from the retail industry this afternoon, to discuss bringing down the price of food.
Speaking afterwards, Minister Richmond said the supermarkets will report back to him on June 21st - but the Government will be monitoring prices in the meantime...
