The Castlebar Draft Area Plan is open for public consultation until April 11 and the public is urged to look at the plan.

Castlebar based Fine Gael Councillor Donna Sheridan is encouraging everyone to give their views, as the plan will be the blueprint for development in the county town from now until 2029.

It’s a busy time for draft plans, with Mayo County Council also looking for public submissions on the Draft Castlebar Local Transport Plan, The Manulla Road Plan and the Pollavaddy to Balla Active Travel Scheme.
