Údaras na Gaeltachta has launched Joyce Country and Western Lakes Gepoark Management Plan.
It sets out ideas, priorities and actions on tourism-led community and business development in the Geopark.
This is following a familiarisation tour of the Joyce Country and Western Lakes Geopark.
On the tour, representatives of Údaras na Gaeltachta, Mayo County Council, Galway County Council and Fáilte Ireland were able to see the built heritage in the Geopark – including its geological features of international significance.
