A rally is planned this Saturday in Galway city centre.
Participants will take to the streets from Eyre Square at 2pm, in a bid to "build community solidarity and standing up to hate".
Motorists can expect some delays, as a result.
It is being organised by activist group GalwayCARD Network, which describes itself as "a network of organisations in Galway city and county building community solidarity and standing up to hate."
It’s a rally against racism and will see a diverse range of speakers as well as local musicians.
A statement from the group on twitter reads: "Next up is the rally on Saturday March 25th at 2pm in Eyre Square. The rally will celebrate the wonderful diversity of our city and county. Please share widely and bring a friend or two! Posters, banners and musicians are all welcome on the day!"
