Volunteers from Galway & Mayo Samaritans are set to mark a special Charlie Bird Hand of Friendship Walk next month.
Samaritans are inviting any member of the public to join the volunteers.
The event will take place on April 16 at 11:00AM in Ard na Gaoithe, Cong.
There will also be walks at the following locations:
Avondale Forest Park, Co. Wicklow.
Farren Forest Park, Co. Cork.
Lough Key Forest Park, Co. Roscommon.
