Gardaí are investigating a sudden death at a residence which was reported in the area of Muing na Lao, Porturlin, near Belmullet this morning (Sunday March 19).
The body of the deceased male remains at the scene.
A post mortem examination is due to take place at a later date.
Gardaí are currently not treating the death as suspicious and foul play is not suspected at this time.
No further information is available at this stage. Investigations are ongoing.
