Those working in the hospitality sector are expecting a "bumper" year for Irish tourism.

Of the half a million people on the streets of the capital for yesterday's parade, it's estimated that 28 percent of them were overseas visitors.

The festivities this weekend are expected to have an economic impact of close to 50 million euro.
