The range of courses out there to assist anyone who wants to develop a career, get back to learning, or undertake an apprenticeship continues to grow and the opportunities are many both nationally and locally.
Hospitality INC, Westport, is a new training initiative part of the National learning Network (NLN) -that focuses on Hospitality Inclusion - creating employment opportunities in the hospitality sector in the Westport area and beyond and in an era where hospitality is struggling to secure and retain staff - this appears to be a timely initiative
It’s a popular new course available in the Leeson Enterprise Centre on Altamont St in Westport and is currently open for admissions.
NLN specialises in working with people with learning differences who may need additional supports and training which enables progression into employment or further education.
The main Mayo centre is the Rehab Centre on the Breaffy Road in Castlebar, however, a number of satellite facilities are also now in place.
