Concerns have been raised about drinking and anti-social behaviour along a Castlebar walkway.
Fine Gael’s Donna Sheridan expressed her worries about the lack of CCTV on the pathway that leads from Newtown to Lough Lannagh.
She highlighted the issue at a recent meeting of Castlebar Municipal District.
Cllr. Sheridan said groups of men congregate and drink alcohol frequently along the route and the situation is particularly worrying for women walking alone.
