Both University Hospital Galway and Sligo University Hospital were among the most overcrowded hospitals in the country this month, listed at 3rd and 5th respectively.
That's according to the INMO's Trolley watch figures which show over 10 thousand patients were on trolleys across the country throughout the month of February.
There were 775 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Galway while 528 were on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital.
At Mayo University Hospital 299 patients waited for beds while 243 were on trolleys in Portiuncula Hospital last month.
