Former Taoiseach Enda Kenny is said to be recovering well after a cancer diagnosis.
The Irish Independent reports the 71 year old Castlebar native recently had tissue removed from under his arm at St. James' Hospital in Dublin, but is confident the malignancy had been caught early.
The paper quotes a spokesman for the former Taoiseach as saying he is in 'robust good health' and is 'well on the road to a full recovery'.
