Ballaghadereen Library is set to reopen this summer, according to Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane.
The library initially closed in 2020 for renovations, but due to issues arising during the tendering process, the project has been delayed.
The Roscommon/ Galway Deputy says that the most recent tendering process was successful and work has finally begun on the building.
She says the works are expected to be completed this summer to allow the library to reopen.
