Ten Mayo community and voluntary groups will receive funding under the third tranche of the Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme (CVESS).
Under the Community and Voluntary Energy Support Scheme (CVESS), small grants are provided to community groups, development associations, and volunteer-led organisations.
Almost €12,000 euro in funding has been awarded to ten Mayo groups.
The news has been confirmed by Mayo Deputy Michael Ring who says the payments will begin to issue to the groups immediately.
