Fine Gael is winning over more younger voters than Fianna Fail, according to the latest opinion poll.
A survey by The Irish Times shows 17 per cent of under 35s would vote for Fine Gael, compared to 9 per cent for Fianna Fail.
The polls also again confirmed Sinn Fein as the most popular party in the country, claiming 35 per cent of the polls, followed by Fine Gael at 22 per cent and Fianna Fail at 18 per cent.
Political Editor with the Irish Times, Pat Leahy, says government parties have fared well in the survey despite recent challenges.
