Gardai in Galway are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision on Sunday on the N63 between Newbridge and Ballygar.
The single vehicle collision happened on the N63, the main Roscommon to Galway road, at approximately 12.45 pm on Sunday afternoon.
The passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was taken to Portiuncula University Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The driver, also in his 20’s, was taken to hospital for medical attention.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
