Funeral arrangements have been announced for the young woman who lost her life in a road traffic collision in Belmullet at the weekend.
22 year old Lauren Padden was killed when the car she was driving left the road and collided with a ditch.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for a time on Saturday morning to allow for a technical examination.
Two other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision were removed to Mayo University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward and any road users with video footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to them.

Lauren will repose at the family home in Shanahee today from 3 o’clock until 8 o’clock and tomorrow from 3 o’clock until 8 o’clock.
Funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, Belmullet on Wednesday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 2 o’clock, followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.
