Headford has been included among a number of towns for a transport study to be undertaken.

Councillor Andrew Reddington says such a study is long overdue as traffic congestion has been an issue in the town for quite a while now.

The Headford based councillor says more parking along the main street in the town is needed as the many cars are often 'abandoned' along the street as they can't obtain parking.

He hopes the project will get underway as quick as possible.
