Cars were observed being ‘rally driven’ inside the new section of a county Galway cemetery last weekend.
On facebook the Kilkerrin Cemetery Committee say that “during last weekend, cars were spotted being rally driven inside the new section of the graveyard. How upsetting it is to see this happen in a place where our loved ones are laid to rest in peace”.
The committee has warned that if this happens again, it will be left with no option but to lock the gates to the cemetery, which it does not want to do.
