A search operation for a missing Crossmolina man is continuing today.
68-year-old Seamus Cawley is missing from his home in Crossmolina for just over a week now.
Seamus was last seen at approximately 10am, on Monday January 16th, when he left his home in a silver Volkswagen Golf with partial registration of 08-MO.
A multi-agency search operation has been underway for eight days now involving the River Moy Search and Rescue, the Grainne Uaile Search and Recovery unit, Boyne Fisherman River Rescue from Drogheda as well as their Western Division based in Mayo, Garda divers, the Civil Defence, the Coast Guard, Inland fishery personnel and local volunteers and boatmen.
The search is again concentrated today along the Deel river from Knockadine bridge out into Lough Conn.
