Over 11,300 asylum-seekers get less than 40 euro a week in social welfare from the state.
Just over 9,300 adults, who live in direct provision, receive a weekly allowance of 38 euro and 80 cents.
The rate for a child is 29.80 - which is paid for over 2,000 people.
