A Mass will take place this evening (Friday) in St. Mary’s Church in Bofeenaun.
The Bofeenaun/ Lahardane Community Alert group has organised the Mass for 7pm this evening, as two extensive searches have been taking place for two local parishioners in Castlebar and Crossmolina, over recent days.
The Castlebar search was stood down yesterday after the body of Patrick Rowland was recovered.
The search for Seamus Cawley is continuing today.
The Mass will be celebrated for both men and for their families and the rescue services and the many volunteers in the searches.
