Searches will resume this morning in Castlebar and Crossmolina for two men missing for a number of days now.
Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 68-year-old Seamus Cawley who is missing from his home in Crossmolina, since Monday morning (16th January 2023).
Seamus was last seen at approximatley 10am on Monday morning last when he left his home. He was driving a silver Volkswagen Golf with partial registration of 08-MO.
He is described as being approximately 5’9”, of stocky build and grey hair. When last seen, he was wearing a green jumper, checked shirt and navy trousers.
Gardaí and Seamus’ family are concerned for his welfare.
Gardaí, civil defence personnel and the coastguard together with a number of rescue teams and local volunteers have been involved in an extensive search for Seamus since Monday, and is due to resume again this morning.

While an extensive search will resume again this morning in Castlebar for a man missing since the early hours of Tuesday morning.
69 year old Patrick Rowland went missing from Mayo University Hospital and was last seen around the Market square area of Castlebar at approx 1.25am Tuesday morning.
Castlebar Gardai are continuing to appeal to businesses and householders in the area to check their premises, including outhouses, sheds and yards.
