Gardaí, civil defence personnel and the coastguard together with a number of rescue teams and local volunteers are to resume an extensive search operation in Crossmolina this morning, after a man was reported as missing in the area.
The missing man is aged in his late 60s.
The search is concentrated near the Knockadine Bridge in Crossmolina and a search helicopter has also been mobilised in the area.
