Safety issues at the new roundabout on the Newport Road in Westport have been highlighted today by local councillor Brendan Mulroy.
The Fianna Fail councillor says the new road structure, open in part to traffic, immediately requires enhanced road signage and better lighting.
He claims that at night, the new structure is dangerous.
