There are 506 people waiting for beds in Irish hospitals, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch figures.

Letterkenny University Hospital is worst affected, with 66 people on trollies.

There are 51 people without a bed in University Hospital Limerick.

Regionally, there are 35 people waiting in Sligo University Hospital, 29 in University Hospital Galway, 22 in Mayo University Hospital, as well as 17 in Portiuncla Hospital in Ballinasloe.

Of the national figure, 10 of those waiting are under the age of 16.
