Kilmeena GAA Club have received the Meitheal Award as part of the annual awards from the Mayo Association in Dublin.
The Meitheal award goes to a voluntary group or club based in Mayo, and who, in the opinion of the adjudicators, have achieved great distinction or have worked for the county or its people.
Kilmeena’s senior men’s team won the 2022 All Ireland junior football title back in February in Croke Park, following an 0-11 to 1-6 victory over Gneeveguilla of Kerry.
