Gardai are investigating burglaries in a pub and a shop in the Tuam area earlier this week and are appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the Kiltevna area of Dunmore, last Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, to come forward.
Proprietor Tom McHugh says the safe, a sum of cash, and a Mitsubishsi lorry were stolen from the premises, together with other items in the shop.
The lorry’s registration is 07-G-6491
Gardai say it's difficult to pinpoint an exact timeframe of the incidents but that they occurred after 11pm on Tuesday night.
