Over 1,800 official complaints were made against Gardaí to their watchdog last year.
According to freedom of information figures, there were 14 allegations of sexual offences by Gardaí.
Provisional figures show the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission received 1,826 complaints last year.
That's down 17 per cent from 2021.
Last year's complaints contained just under 3,000 allegations.
A third of them were in Dublin, with 266 in Cork and 119 in Mayo.
But the vast majority of last year's complaints weren't upheld, with only 12 breaches of discipline identified so far.
Of all the allegations nationally, 33 were about theft and fraud, and 15 related to discrimination.
