'Ireland cannot just sleepwalk into a crisis of chronic illness', that's according to Independent TD Denis Naughten.

Based on a recent survey from Ireland Thinks, commissioned by the Roscommon/Galway Deputy, there are 230,559 people in Ireland suffering with conditions associated with long COVID, with over 25,000 of those in Connacht alone.

The poll shows 6% of Irish adults have self-reported symptoms of long COVID in excess of 12 weeks.
