Irish Water are working in conjunction with Galway County Council to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible to effected customers following a burst water main in Athenry.

Customers in the following areas will be impacted by the reduced water pressure and water outages until the works are completed:

Páirc Na Rí, Cúil Dáibhí, Cáislean Rí, Árd Esker, Garraí Glas and surrounding areas in Athenry.

Repairs are expected to be completed by 11:00PM tonight.

Irish Water have informed that normal water supply should be fully restored within three hours to all customers.
