A Town Design Statement is currently being prepared for Louisburgh, and Mayo County Council are looking for input from members of the public.
This statement aims to promote the unique heritage, character and all that is good about the town to help celebrate the area.
Mayo County Council also seek input on where the town needs improvements and aim to work towards finding solutions for them.
Key elements for the project will be the 'Public Realm', which includes its streets, laneways, parks and approach roads, as well as the sustainability of the town and addressing climate change.
The deadline for submissions is this coming Tuesday, January 10 2023.
