A local councillor has welcomed news of the extension of the Abhaile Scheme until the end of 2023.
The scheme, which was set up in 2016, is designed to help families who are struggling with mortgage arrears.
Councillor Marie Casserly says it's welcome news that the scheme has been extended but it needs to be made permanent.
Since it was introduced, the abhaile scheme has helped over 19 thousand households who were at risk of losing their homes.
