Allan Mulrooney has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Western Development Commission.

This comes following the departure of Tomás Ó Síocháin as CEO after four years at the helm.

Sligo native Mulrooney currently holds the role of Head of Communications and Atlantic Economic Corridor Development.
