A new bus service will start next Monday the 3rd of October from Claremorris to Carraroe.

The TFI local link route 431 will serve Carraroe, Costelloe, Screebe, Maam Cross, Maum, Cornamona, Clonbur, Cong, Neale, Ballinrobe, Hollymount, and Claremorris and will run 4 times a day.

The announcement has been welcomed by Junior Transport Minister, Galway's Hildegarde Naughton who says these enhanced routes under the Connecting Ireland plans pave the way for improved connectivity to town centres and further support local communities in making the shift to public transport.

This new route is funded by the National Transport Authority as part of the Transport for Ireland Network.
