The Mayo Hospice in Castlebar will hold an Open Evening on Wednesday next, Sept 14th, from 5 to 7pm, and everyone is invited to attend and see firsthand the extensive facilities and therapies available at the Castlebar premises.

The Mayo Hospice opened its doors to inpatients in March of 2021, and can accommodate 14 people, while the Day Care Services opened to participants earlier this year, in March 2022.

Hospice provides palliative care services to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation affirms life, respecting the uniqueness of each individual, by caring and supporting to meet the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families and the service enables patients to live in comfort and dignity.
