Patients presenting at Emergency Departments of hospitals across the region today are experiencing delays.
The highest number of patients on trolleys waiting for beds today are at Galway University Hospital, where 59 patients are waiting to be admitted. That’s according to the latest INMO Trolley Watch figures.
There are 35 patients on trolleys waiting for admission to Sligo University Hospital, 14 patients on trolleys at Mayo University Hospital and three patients on trolleys waiting for beds at Portiuncula University Hospital.
Nationally, 470 patients are on hospital trolleys awaiting hospital admissions.
