The Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris today announced 40 million euro to assist in making third level colleges greener and more accessible.
4 million euro has been secured for the Atlantic Technological University with campuses in Mayo, Sligo, Donegal and Galway.
In addition 200,000 euro has been secured for St Angela’Scollege in Sligo.
Minister of State, Frank Feighin says the funding is very welcome and must be used for key capital investment priorities including – investment to support access, energy efficiency, general ICT upgrades and health and safety works.
