Irish Water, working with Mayo County Council, have completed repair works following a large burst to a watermain in Ballina in the early hours of this morning. 

Speaking about the completion of the repair works, Sean Higgins from Irish Water said,

“Crews from Irish Water and Mayo County Council completed the repair works at approximately 4pm. The majority of customer should have their water supply returned at this stage but It may take a little while longer for some areas. 

“I would like to thank everyone for their patience and co-operation throughout this unplanned outage.”
