Talks get underway this morning on how much the agriculture sector should have to cut its carbon emissions amid speculation that a deal could be hammered out before the end of the week.
As talks resumed a call has been made on Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to stand up to the Greens and put them in their place.
That's the view of Independent TD for Roscommon-Galway and farmer, Michael Fitzmaurice.
Deputy Fitzmaurice says it's time the two main parties in Government stopped themselves from being pushed around by the Greens.
