Irish Water crews are working to restore a normal water supply to customers in Moygownagh today.
Irish Water and Mayo County Council are investigating an issue at a pumping station supplying the Moygownagh area after customers were impacted by low pressure.
Every effort is being made to maintain supply to as many customers as possible, but the issue has resulted in reduced water pressure and an intermittent supply.
Repairs are expected to be complete this evening. Typically, it takes two to three hours following repairs for normal supply to restore to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
