The Department of Children, Equality and Integration is seeking expressions of interest from accommodation providers for persons seeking international protection.

The accommodation period is for 26 weeks.

The State it seems is under growing pressure to house refugees or persons seeking international protection.

It is calling on accommodation providers who can provide beds, three meals per day and laundry services to get in touch.

Accommodation offers will be assessed on the basis the facilities offered are clean, safe, within reasonable distance of Dublin and on the cost being sought.

The deadline for expressions of interest is August 8th.

More details cans be had from the website of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
