The Government looks set to reject the findings of the Pension Commission as the Taoiseach has said the pension age shouldn't rise above 66.
During a pre-budget meeting of the Fianna Fáil Parliamentary Party Micheál Martin said PRSI increases may be needed as a result.
The Pension Commission recommended a gradual rise in the pension age to 68 by 2039.
