A Project Manager has been appointed to advance the development of a new eight classroom building for St Teresa’s Special School in Ballinasloe.

The Minister for Disability, Galway East deputy Anne Rabbitte has welcomed the appointment saying that it’s great progress for the school, which is such an important educational facility in Ballinasloe and surrounding areas.

The appointment, the Minister says, will speed up the programme of works to make this new 8-class school a reality for children, parents and staff. Minister Foley has informed Minister Rabbitte that one of the first jobs of the ADAPT Project Manager will be to advance the appointment of a Design Team for the project.
