Irish water say repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Shrule Village and surrounding areas.
Works are scheduled to take place until 6pm this evening.
Irish Water is recommending householders to allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for the supply to fully return.
A water tanker is available at the bridge at bottom of the village and at the Church until 6pm this evening.
Irish Water says that while they have made every effort to ensure that the alternative drinking water supply provided, including the tanker and dispensing tap, are adequately disinfected, however, as a precautionary measure, it is recommended that any members of the public who obtain water from a tanker or bowser boil the water before use.
