The N60 is closed to traffic between Claremorris and Facefield following a serious road traffic collision.

The crash occurred near Garrywadreen shortly before 12:30pm.

Midwest News understands that up to four vehicles were involved in the collision.

Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene.

Diversions are in place.
