Emergency services attended the scene of a fire in Claremorris town centre earlier
The blaze took hold at a premises across the road from the Dalton Inn Hotel at around 10am this morning.
Two fire engines and a Mayo County Council Fire Service vehicle attended the scene, along with three squad cars.
The blaze was brought under control at around 11:15am.
Midwest News understands that there are no casualties to report from the incident.
Dalton Street in Claremorris was closed for a time between Warde’s Pub and Blue Thunder, but it reopened to traffic at around 11:40am.
