100 new jobs have been announced this morning for Sligo.
Medical device company Arrotek has announced the creation of up to 100 jobs, after being granted planning permission for a 20,000 sq ft extension to its headquarters at the Finisklin Business Park in Sligo town.
The company was founded in 2005 as an engineering service provider, designing medical devices for other companies.
Arrotek has seen steady year-on-year growth, and specialises in the design and manufacture of minimally-invasive medical devices.
The new positions will be created across all departments the company, including design engineers and project managers, quality, production, finance, customer service and administration, and recruitment for the new jobs will begin immediately.
