A Master plan is now required by Mayo County council to develop a marina at Lisloughrey Cong, with adequate adjacent parking for cars and buses.

That’s the view of Ballinrobe based Fianna Fail councillor Damien Ryan.

The councillor raised the issue at a recent monthly meeting of the Claremorris-Swinford Municipal District. Mayo County County Council has recently acquired land adjacent to the Quay at Lisloughrey for this purpose.
