Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman's body in Ballymote, Co Sligo.
The body of the woman in her 70's was found at a property in Ballymote at about 2pm yesterday afternoon.
Her remains have been removed to Sligo University Hospital for post-mortem examination, and Gardai say the results will determine the course of their investigation.
